Project Descripton
Aurora Coffee needed a photography direction that felt natural, warm, and approachable while reflecting the care, intention, and craftsmanship behind every part of its process—from sourcing and roasting to the final pour. I developed a visual language rooted in natural light, honest details, and intimate, observational moments that feel unforced and real. Instead of staging perfection, the focus was on capturing atmosphere and emotion as they naturally unfold.
From hands preparing each cup, the texture of steam rising in soft morning light, and the subtle gestures between baristas and guests, to the quiet rhythm of the café throughout the day, every frame was designed to feel authentic, inviting, and deeply human. The goal was to create imagery that doesn’t just show the product, but expresses the feeling of being there—slow, warm, and grounded in everyday ritual—so the brand feels alive, familiar, and true to its real-world experience.

The Challenge
The goal was to move beyond traditional product photography and create imagery that felt more personal, expressive, and emotionally engaging. Instead of focusing only on the product, the direction aimed to capture the atmosphere, mood, and human presence surrounding the brand.
The photographs needed to communicate the character of Aurora Coffee in a way that felt authentic and lived-in, while still maintaining a refined and consistent visual identity. At the same time, the imagery had to remain flexible across multiple touchpoints, including the website, social media, and marketing materials, ensuring a cohesive brand experience everywhere it appears.
